Letter from The Director August 31, 2010 WOW! What an awesome time we had at the park on Saturday. I hope you were all there, if not, you really did miss out!! At one time I looked up and looked around and thought to myself, “there has got to be at least 800 people here”. There were blow-ups, food, face painting… We gave away backpacks, backpacks, and more backpacks!! We also gave away a Basketball Goal, i tune cards, and an i pod, more even, but I can’t remember!!! Check out the photo gallery here on the website and our facebook page for pictures!! Now, pay attention cuz this is important stuff!! We will not be open this coming Saturday, the 4th. We are giving our volunteers (who worked hard on and at the Back-to-School Bash) a break for the Labor Day weekend. As you know it’s a big family type holiday and we do not want them to consider giving up their time, we know they would! We will be open the 11th and we will be kicking off our SURVIVOR series!! Those of you, who have signed up for Survivor and showed up at the bash with your Rock ID, have been given an extra point to start!! You can all earn up to 10 more points by clicking on the Game Instruction tab and following those instructions! Remember, if you are holding more points than anyone on your team, you have automatic immunity and cannot be voted off!!!! All you need is a piece of paper and click on that tab! The Survivor prize starts off with $50.00. Each week the winning team gets to choose another gift to add to the total prize! You are gonna love this game series!
